PIERRE PASCUAL
Support for creation
Who I am.
I am a writer, filmmaker, musician, and editor. For the past ten years, I have mentored other artists and writers, both individually and in workshops. My diverse creative experiences have shaped my approach to mentoring. I am particularly drawn to creations that don't immediately find their place, to hybrid expressions, and to unique languages. I have worked in France and Morocco with artists from very different backgrounds, speaking various languages and practicing different styles. I have been especially interested in those who create from the margins, who write between several languages, or whose work flows between multiple mediums—writing, image, music, film, and performance.
My support encompasses various creative fields: writing and literature; cinema and audiovisual media; music and sound creation; visual and plastic arts; photography, dance, performance and body practices…
I also support people who have not yet found their practice, or who want to discover other facets of their creativity.

The basis of my support.
A creative work doesn't always lack skill or technique. Often, it needs a discerning eye. The creator may struggle to navigate this process, make choices, find direction, or simply keep the initial spark alive.
That's where I come in.
I offer neither a method nor a recipe. I bring my experience as a creator, publisher and artistic director, my ability to move from one language to another, and above all a precise look at what is already there — in a work, in a project or in the person who carries it.
The creator cannot be separated from the work he creates: often it is necessary to start again from the body, from life experience, from the relationship to creation, from the routines put in place to create.
Dialogue lies at the heart of my coaching approach, and I place great importance on listening. Depending on individual needs, I may also offer concrete, creative suggestions—such as writing, photography, observation, or alternative forms of experimentation—or draw upon tools from positive psychology. The goal is not to apply a rigid method, but to work with each person to find ways to get their creative process moving again, save time, and find their niche and audience, all while building a way of creating that is happier, more fluid, and—whenever possible—economically viable.

3 ways I can support you:
1. Creative perspective
I'm looking at what you create
You entrust me with a work, a project, an idea or a work in progress. I bring you a sensitive and demanding external perspective: what I see, what I feel, what seems alive to me, what could be moved, developed or freed.
I am not judging your creation: I am helping you to see it better.
How does it work?
You send me your artwork or project along with some background information. I take the time to review it and prepare my perspective before we meet.
We then exchange ideas for 1 hour and 30 minutes, either in person or via videoconference, depending on our locations. Together, we review what is already in place, the project's strengths, areas requiring attention, places that may need to be moved or explored further, and possible directions for the future.
For longer works, we determine the scope of reading together in advance or we adapt the price accordingly.
Creative vision €180 / 1,500 DH

2. Creative monitoring
I will guide you through the evolution of your work.
After a creative review, I can continue to support you on an ad hoc basis as your project evolves: new versions, choices, turning points, blockages, difficulties in finishing or finding a direction.
The service is offered on an hourly basis, with no long-term commitment. The time spent reading or reviewing your work, as well as our discussions, is billed. Before each session, we will define together what you would like me to entrust to me and the time required; I will then inform you of the corresponding cost.
€70/hour — 500 DH/hour
(Creative follow-up is available after an initial creative assessment)
In person or via video conference

3. Creative Life
I will support you, the person who creates.
Here, the artwork is no longer the focus: it's you.
The place that creation takes in your life, what it brings you and what it costs you; the doubt, the loneliness, the fear of showing, the relationship to failure or recognition; the exhaustion, the intensity, the time, the money, the difficulty in finding a way of life compatible with your need to create.
How does it work?
For 1 hour, we start from what you are going through today: blockage, dispersion, loneliness, difficulty finishing or showing, relationship to work or recognition, exhaustion, organization, place of creation in your daily life or difficulty reconciling creation and personal life.
Through this exchange, we seek together to understand what is at stake and to identify concrete paths to build a life in which creating is no longer something you have to fight against.
€70/hour — 500 DH/hour
In person or via video conference
